I have some of these titles, but I don't remember if I did them in hard mode or not. Does anyone know if you need to do it in hard mode to get the title?

You don't need them to do them in Hard Mode to get the title.

The only title lines that require Hard Mode are Vanquisher and Guardian. Also to complete the Master of the North title, you must redo all the book quests and dungeons in Hard Mode.

You also need HM for EOTN reputation (past 8), Lightbringer (past 5), Sunspear past 8.
